Scout Sunday Feb 3rd, 2008
- Arrive at Taylors First Baptist Church at 9:30am
- Be in Full Class A uniform (neckerchief, sash, all bell and whistles)
- Go to Main Foyer
- You will be assigned by your leaders to door were you will pass out Scouting for Food bags when the 9:00am service is lets out at 10:00am.
- Pass out bags until 10:15am.
- Move to your assigned seat in the church sanctuary.
- Attend the 10:30am service.
- Near the end of the service Jack Dorn will let us know when we are dismissed. So, that we can get back to our assigned exit doors.
- We will then pass out Scouting for Food bags to the 10:30am service as they leave.
- At 11:45am return your unused bags to your Scout leaders and then you will be dismissed to your parents.
Scouting for Food Sunday Feb 10th, 2008
- Arrive at Taylors First Baptist Church at 8:30am.
- Be in Class A uniform (Uniform shirt, green pants)
- Meet in front of the foyer, your leaders will assign you an area to pick up bags.
- Retrieve bags for the congregation as they arrive, watch for cars.
- A cart will be used to move the bags to our trailer.
- At our trailer, older scouts will sort through the bags and make sure each bag has 10
items. The bags will then be counted and placed in the trailer.
- By 9:15am the early congregation will have gone inside.
- Come inside and stay warm.
- By 10:15am the second congregation will start to arrive.
- Go to you stations again and collect bags till 10:40am.
- All scouts should then move to the trailer and help as needed with the sorting and counting.
- Once done, we will all travel to the Greer Relief Center on Victoria Street.
- We will unload the trailer there under the direction of the Greer Relief Director Suzanne Shennan.
- Once unloaded you can leave with your parents.
