Eagle Scout - David Dunlap

DJ Dunlap is a student at the University of South Carolina in Columbia.  He is majoring in International Relations .  His Boy Scout experience was put to good use when he recently camped out so he could get a good spot when ESPN's Game Day visited the USC campus.  DJ's Eagle project was to collect household items to benefit "A Child's Haven".  Many of their clients do not have even the most basic items needed to begin a household.  DJ collected enough towels, toiletries, can openers, silverware, spatulas, toasters, and kitchen utensils to fill an office.  The items were used to help children and their struggling families get a fresh start.  DJ had become acquainted with "A Child's Haven" while helping the Wade Hampton Student Council raise over $170,000 during Spirit Week.
