Camp Carroll Brown Camping trip

 

Saturday 12/13/06

- Meet at the Scout House at 7:00am - EAT BREAKFAST FIRST

- Leave for Camp Carroll Brown @ 7:30am

- Arrive at Camp Carroll Brown @ 8:20am

- Set up camp

- Start building shelters

- Lunch

- Go on a Hike

- Wilderness survival instruction

- Continue building shelters

- Dinner

- Night games / Snipe hunting

- 10:00pm Lights out

 

Sunday 12/14/06

- 7:00am - Wake up

- Breakfast

- 8:30am – Sunday service

- 9:00am – Take down tents / Shelter

- 9:30am - Leave

- 10:15am - Arrive back at Scout House

- Unpack cars 

 

What to bring

- Backpack

- 50 ft of rope

- Food - no grubmaster on this trip, remember nutrition and shop smart

- Tent, unless you are building at shelter.

- Sleeping bag

- Change of clothes

- 120 oz. of water (6 bottles)

- Depending on weather – poncho and other rain gear

- Depending on weather – jacket, knit cap, cold weather socks

- Knife, a hatchet is approved for this outing if you have one.

- Hiking boots (no tennis shoes)

- Boy scout cap (optional)

- Hiking staff (optional)

- Flashlight

- First Aid Kit

- Toothbrush / toothpaste

- Toilet paper

- Large kitchen trash bag

- Folding Chair

- If not yet 1st Class, bring your scout book.
