Camp Carol Brown Backpacking Trip

Orienteering Merit Badge

Oct 15th - 16th 2011

No Trailer - No Grubmaster - No Toilet

Saturday Oct 15th

- Arrive at the Scout House at 7:30am.

- Gear check - Pack very light

- Leave for Camp Carol Brown at 8:00am.

- Arrive around 8:30am

- Leaders will drop off scouts and park vehicles

- Hike up to campsite.

- Set up tents

- 10:30am - 11:30am - Compass Instruction

- Lunch (bring your own)

- 1:00pm - 4:00pm - Orienteering Course and Review

- Around 5:00pm start campfire.

- Dinner

- Night games

- 10:30pm Lights out

 

Sunday

- 7:00am - Wake up

- 7:30am - 8:45am - Breakfast

- 9:00am – Sunday service

- 9:30am – Pack up and take down tents

- 10:00am – Work on scout books

- 11:30am - Leave Camp Carroll Brown

- 12:00pm – Arrive back at the Scout House.
