2011 Camp Arrowhead Camping Trip Saturday August 13th – Sunday August 14th     

Food - $18.00 (four meals)

 

Saturday 8/13/11

8:00am - Arrive at Scout House - Eat breakfast before coming or bring it with you
8:30am - leave for Camp Arrowhead
9:35am – arrive at Camp Arrowhead (on Lake Succession near Antreville,SC)

10:00am – set up Troop gear, then tents

10:30am – noon – Fishing, Swimming

Noon – 1:00pm – Lunch

1:00pm – 5:00pm – More Fishing and Swimming, some bookwork

5:00pm – 6:30pm – Dinner

6:30 – 10:00pm – Flag retirement ceremony, campfire, Manhunt

10:00pm –  Bedtime

 

Sunday 8/14/11

7:00am - Wake Up

7:15 – 9:00am – Cook and eat breakfast

9:00am – 9:20am – Scout Service

10:00am – noon – More Fishing and Swimming

Noon – 1:00pm Lunch and Pack up and clean up

1:00pm – Leave Camp Arrowhead

2:15pm – Arrive back at the Scout House

 

What to bring

- Gear bag (any from a backpack to sports bag)

- Tent

- Sleeping bag

- Change of clothes

- Bathing suit

- Towel (2)

- Water (6 Bottles)

- Bug Spray

- Sunscreen

- Snack foods

- Depending on weather – poncho and other rain gear

- Pocket Knife

- Hiking boots

- Boy scout cap

- Flashlight

- First Aid Kit

- Toothbrush / toothpaste

- Toilet paper

- Large kitchen trash bag

- Folding Chair

- Fishing pole (if your want to fish)

- If not yet 1st Class, bring your scout book, great camp for knocking out some book work.
