Vulcan Rock Camp Out

Sat/Sun  May 15th-16th

 

Time: Arrive at Scout House on Saturday May 15th  no later than 7:00 AM. 

Eat or bring breakfast BEFORE you come.

 

Saturday 5/15/106

7:00 am - Meet at scout house.  Pack up equipment.

7:30am - Leave for Vulcan Rock

8:00 am - 10:00am - Setup tents and Wynn Dome

10:00am - Noon - Fishing

Noon - 1:00 pm - Lunch

1:00pm - 4:30 pm - Fishing / Relaxing / Training

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Dinner

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm - Camporee / Games

10:30 pm - Lights out

 

Sunday 5/16/10

7:00 am - Wake up

7:00 am - 8:00 am - Breakfast

8:30 am - Sunday Worship

9:00am - 10:00am - Break Camp

10:00 am - Leave Vulcan Rock

10:30 am - Arrive at Scout House

- Gear bag (any from a backpack to sports bag)

- Tent, unless you are using a troop tent.

- Sleeping bag

- Change of clothes

- 120 oz. of water (6 bottles)

- snack foods

- Depending on weather – poncho and other rain gear

- Depending on weather – jacket, knit cap, cold weather socks

- Fishing Gear

- Knife

- Hiking boots (no tennis shoes)

- Boy scout cap (optional)

- Hiking staff (optional)

- Flashlight

- First Aid Kit

- Toothbrush / toothpaste

- Toilet paper

- Large kitchen trash bag

- Folding Chair

- If not yet 1st Class, bring your scout book.
