Dear Scouts and Parents,

I have great news, over the summer I will be passing the Scoutmaster torch to Mr. Ken Wiren.  As you may know J Dorn had asked last summer for us to look for replacement for his position as Committee Chairman and I mentioned that I would very much like to hold this position, but before we could make this move we needed to find a new Scoutmaster.

Mr Wiren recently approached me and said he would be interested in the position.  So, last week the three of us along with Mr. Metcalf sat down and started the process.

Over the last few years, you parents have been a great help to me and trust that you will continue to support Troop 107.  Please make every effort to make Mr. Wiren as welcome and appreciated as you have treated me.

Now for the fun news, June 21st we head off to Camp Old Indian.  I mentioned in my previous letter that I had posted the leaders schedule on Scoutmaster Notes, but I had to delay that posting till now, because of some class rearrangement.  But, we are all square now. 

One last thing, please be sure sure to get with S. Nimmons about camp payments.
